June Ribbet.com # 5

I actually assembled this with the Ribbet app and not on the .com web site. But, hey...

Thursday I tried to capture a sequence of the square of yellow light (due to one pane of the window being replaced with different glass) creeping across the stair landing as the morning progressed. It was harder than I had hoped. I said "hoped" because I knew that I had little chance of doing it perfectly without setting up a camera on a tripod and leaving it in place. Instead I just walked myself and iPod out there periodically and tried to line things up the same. I would love to do it perfectly and create a gif of it. Obviously I failed. Read this from the bottom up. In the top picture, the light is just about gone. Just on the sill.

I pimped this up with one of the color filters available in the app. (More effects are available on the web version.) But this reduced the difference between the normal light coming through the other panes and the yellow light. So I'm putting the "original" in my Alternates album.

Of course with five images stacked like this, they all look pretty tiny. Well, at least I tried.
I think you did a magnificent job of lining the shots up without that tripod! Very impressive and such a unique concept Mary. Very interesting set of photos
