Kynance Cove by cmp

Kynance Cove

Another wet and misty shot from the Lizard Peninsula in Cornwall last week! Kynance Cove is simply stunning. Here it's high tide and horrid weather, but this gave the occasion even more charm as the place was not so full of tourists! The cove, about 2 miles from Lizard Point (England's most southerly point) became popular in the early Victorian age. Visitors including Queen Victoria, Prince Albert and the poet Alfred Tennyson. The waves were spectacular making the occasion really atmospheric.
Beautiful shoreline........love the rocks and Fog!
