Barming Church by megpicatilly

Barming Church

Driving through an unfamiliar area of Kent, I came across this lonely church which looked as though it was in the middle of a field! Unfortunately I didn't have my camera so had to use my phone - the quality is not great as the light was fading fast. This church dates back to the 12th century and has some grade I and grade II listed gravestones. I have made a mental note to go back and have a look around - in daylight!
The importance of daylight being...?! 😁
Neat sepia shot Catherine

This image is so cool and love the processing. Like my photography instructor said, the best camera to have is the one you have with you.
Fav!

You have achieved a photo that could be from an earlier era. Well seen.

Lovely composition and processing. Was the slightly grainy look because you used your phone camera or was it intentionally done in post processing?

@365projectorgjenfurj Thank you. It did have a bygone feel about it.

@suesouthwood It was done in post processing, but I am sure some would be from the phone camera too, as I had to zoom in quite a bit and the light was fading.
