East Guildeford Church

St Mary's, East Guildeford was built in 1505 by Sir Richard Guildeford using his own money and on his own land. It is the only church on Romney Marsh that is in East Sussex and very unusual as it looks more like a barn than a church. The interior has a beautifully painted frieze and box pews and I will post an interior photograph tomorrow.
