It was an honour to be able to attend Kyoko and Rwito's wedding celebrations in Fukuchiyama, Japan.
Kyoko spent three weeks with us as an exchange student in 1995. She was 15 and our daughter Leticia was 14. We have always stayed in contact. She visited again when she was in university and Graham and I stayed with her family when we visited Japan in 2005.
It was even more special that Leticia and our granddaughters were also able to join us.
The celebrations included aspects from both Japanese and Indian cultures and it was such a joyful occasion.
We were so busy after the girls arrived in Kyoto that I didn't have time to edit or upload images so I'll catch up as I can.
