Rush Hour At The Boat Ramp_DSC0673

There was a lot going on when we stopped at the boat ramp this afternoon. We noticed a flare as we were driving past and were surprised that no one at the ramp seemed to have seen it. A small boat with a man and his children onboard was sinking. The people in the burgundy boat went to their rescue and were heading back to the boat ramp, when Sea Rescue arrived.
As tomorrow is ANZAC Day, I'll be up at 3.00am to help prepare 800 breakfasts for those attending the Dawn Service. My husband's Rotary Club has been doing the Gunfire breakfast for 28 years.
Glad everyone was safe.
