Lest We Forget, ANZAC Day, 2016_DSC0713

The weather held for our Dawn Service and Gunfire breakfast. I wasn't able to get to the service, but I did manage a couple of quick shots of the War Memorial well before the service started.
In the hour after the service finished, our Rotary Club served a cooked breakfast to about 800 people.
I've been on the go since before 3am, so I think I might need an early night :)
Best viewed on black.
Fabulous shot, a real tribute to the Anzac's

Wonderful photo, with such beautiful lighting. Breakfast for 800 people sounds like a lot of work ...but well worth it for this tribute.

Wonderful shot, that is a great effort, I imagine you would need an early night. Anzac Day seems to be growing each year, it is so good to see so many young people showing interest and respect.

Lovely colours and a nice tribute to the Anzacs. It looks super with a black background! Incidentally, my maternal Grandfather fought at Gallipoli with the Anzacs in WW1, so despite living in the UK I have a connection!
