Two of my very dear friends have recently celebrated milestone birthdays (70 & 80). Today we celebrated with a high tea at my place. These beautiful roses from my neighbours garden made a lovely centre piece for the table.
@30pics4jackiesdiamond Haha, we tried Jackie. There was a bit too much raucous laughter to be too posh. We had mini crayfish cocktails, finger sandwiches (cucumber, smoked salmon and crayfish with avocado), mini savoury tarts ( mushroom, sweet potato with caramelised onion and tiny frittatas) scones, jam and cream, lemon meringue tarts, fruit flans and a lemon torte birthday cake. Yummy 😋
@30pics4jackiesdiamond I'm glad that the boys have worked out how to catch them. It will be interesting to see what happens with the professional catch this season if China continues with its import bans.
