Looks best on black. I'd seen some swallowtails flying this last few days, but never stopping - until we went to the Mulberry River on a drive this morning. There must have been 6 of them on the bank. Nice to see the Tiger Swallowtails back. My commenting may be sporadic for a while - will try to keep posting - Bill's had some bad medical news and we're keeping the doctors's offices busy. My concentration definitely isn't what it usually is. Handling things a day at a time.
Hey there. Lovely photo but even more important, very sorry to hear about bad medical news. It absolutely consumes one's mind and time.
I am forever feeling guilty because it seems like all I can do is get my own photos up. Occasionally I am able to sit down long enough to comment on others. I always love your bird shots.
What a beautiful shot of these buterflies, wow this is early to see them!
So sorry to hear about Bill, hoping everything will get resolved quickly!
Take care of yourself Milanie.
This is really quite and extraordinary photo. I really enjoy it (especially believing that this was taken the old fashioned way, without Photoshop.) But more importantly, I was quite sad to hear about your husband's(I assume) medical trouble. I do hope and pray that things will turn out well for both of you. And God grant you strength. I would just like to tell you, in case you have not tried it, that at some moment in a dull waiting room, if you need a little diversion, I have found that logging onto 365Project.Org on my smartphone, while slightly less that ideal is really much more than adequate. All the colorful image and people good cheer always works to pick me up, I know. in any event, I do wish you both well. Best of luck.
Lovely capture and unhappy news. Your comments will be missed but medical procedures take precedence. All the best of luck and I pray for a good outcome.
Great shot Milanie. Sorry to hear your hubby's going through a difficult time, medically speaking. I hope he gets good news soon. Positive thoughts winging their way to you through the 365 cyber space.
What a great photo! I would be over the moon to be able to get one such as this. I will be praying for both of you as you wind your way through the days of figuring out what's next.
Sorry to hear about your husband's ill heath. Hopefully things will turn around for the best soon. Take care and thanks for posting this lovely photo. Butterflies always seem to evoke a sense of hope and easing the heaviness on the soul. Wishing for good news for you both.
I'm so sorry to hear you've received some bad news and I hope that it doesn't stick. Maybe these butterflies will be a sign of things looking up. How cool to get two in one shot.
@mbrutus Thank you for your thoughts and advice and glad you liked the butterflies - Definitely not photoshopped! I do use Photoshop on occasion - but it's usually to crop or delete power lines (haven't figured out a whole lot more!)
Oh, Milanie, I am so sorry to read about Bill's news. I have you both in my prayers! Surely you will feel God's comforting presence each and every day. He is right there with you.
Your picture is beautiful with its lovely subjects, vibrant colors, wonderful reflections, tack sharp focus...this is a FAV for me!
