When He Said a Chance of Ice in Higher Elevations . . .
The weatherman hit it right - dry as can be in Ozark, but 40 minutes south of us, in the Ouachita Mountains, is the highest point between the Appalachians and the Rockies - Mt. Magazine. Took a chance that the weatherman was right - it was beautiful! Roads totally dry.
That's lovely. It's like that bird is sitting there making notes for the weatherman, just out of reach and out of trouble in the greenery, surveying the ice below!
Wow - that is both beautiful and eerie! I can hear the quality of the silence there just by looking at this. Love the inclusion of the vulture, it adds to the atmosphere.
