Some serious cropping - spotted him at least 250 yards (I figure the number of football fields - use to shoot football pictures) down the field. That was as close as I could get before he took off.

I think they're pretty, but they've driven most of the songbirds (or eaten them) out of my backyard. Good capture; I never have a camera handy when they're stalking in my garden. I hope they migrate for the winter so my doves and cardinals return.
