I love Zwetschgenkuchen best. the Zwetschgen season is so short, so I bake a few of them and freeze some for later. your presentation is beautiful with the descending icing sugar. looks very professional. fav.

This shot is so engaging and inviting. It could be anyone's fantasy kitchen as a child from this pov. I feel like I can smell it, and feel the warmth.

You have a signature style that I know when the image is yours. Fantastic composition and capture... ready for a food magazine. FAV.

Now I want to bake!
September 20th, 2016
I like both shots, but I think I prefer the colour version just a little more M. It's looks so warm and tempting. You seem to be baking a lot these days. :)

what a wonderful image - such a joyful scene
September 25th, 2016
@moonmtn Thanks Kahsia. Yes I do bake this things myself, but I'm not a Pastry Chef. Not at all, I'm not even good in all this cooking and baking stuff.
September 26th, 2016
@bruni I'm not so diligent like you. I only freeze the half cut Zwetschgen. So we can have Zwetschgentarte the whole year, when ever we like, and doing it this way I can also cook a quick Zwtschgenröster (compote) if needed. Do you have a German speaking origin?
September 26th, 2016
zwetschgendatschi! mmmmm . . . . and that falling sugar reminds me of the story of a baker in the sky sprinkling down the falling sugar to earth!
