We have long days and short nights at this time of the year. So at a quarter to eleven, there where still some nice colours in the sky. I had some thinking about a location I can go at a warm saturday saturday night, for beeing alone and to do my light playing. And without being in focus of whatever strange persons. Well, there have been some late eventing strollers, but all nice and interested into what I'm doing, but without disturbing me (to much). But I did not think of bringing a repellent and a gazillion of moskitos (well probably only a dozen, but very thirsty ones) had fun with me. So I made this a short session.
I love your creativity and ability to do this on your own! I've only been able to do so with assistants. The design you created works very nicely as a leading line and the beautiful scene in the background highlights the light writing perfectly. fav!
It’s amazing you did this outside. Our photo club has played with light painting but we’ve always had to go indoors to get everything set up. This looks beautiful on that background.
This is cool. I love the way the light part actually appears to have volume, almost like it is a tube of transparent fabric floating through the air.

Hi Jacqueline @jacqbb. Thanks for your comment. Its a diy light source. Actually garden plant saucer I added some lights a couple of years ago. I planned to do some *domes* but the grass was to high, to get nice shapes. So I improvised. In 2016 I made a little *behind the scene* post. Thank you Mona for sharing this with us, I was always wondering how to make this domes. Your light painting with the wonderful background is absolutely stunning.
