2022-09-10 handle with care

We do not get cactus pears (sort of prickly pears) often, but I really like them for chutneys and desserts. Even if I burn off the glochids, I handle them with care.
So tonight we have a rare cacti pear dessert,... with honey scented Mascarpone and cacti pear fruit mirror.

You should be a chef with two stars! Fichi d’India, right? We eat them from time to time, especially if we are in Sicily. Fav for the photo!
