Stained-glass window

This window is in one of the old synagogues in Segovia, now converted into a Catholic Church.
Beautiful

This is beautiful. I wonder if the stained glass is a left over from its days as a synagogue or if it's a new addition since the Catholic Church took it over.

A beautiful and bright piece of stained glass. An interesting change of use of the building, from synagogue to church.

@ziggy77 @pattyblue Thanks!
@skipt07 Thanks - This comes from the original synagogue, but it has been restored. It's known because you can distinguish a star, but no cross.
@fishers Many medieval churches and cathedrals in Spain were previously synagogues or mosques. I guess when the medieval Christians re-conquered the land from the Muslims (and expelled the Jews) it was far cheaper and more convenient to re-purpose the buildings already there than to build new ones!
