Enlightened...

This is a first edition of Dr.Johnson's Dictionary of the English Language,first published in 1755, on display at The Samuel Johnson Museum in Lichfield. Awesome achievement for a man born into relative poverty,so that he was unable to continue his studies at Oxford and was only given his doctorate in later life for his achievements.
