Both abstracts are interesting and audacious, because of the deliberate out of focus, of the strong contrast and of the large amount of negative space. I have a slight preference for this picture, probably because the diagonal has a more accentuated angle and penetrates further into the lower half, this provides a stronger unity to the whole image.
