Shattered! by mozette

Shattered!

While at a new bus shelter the other day, I found there was glass absolutely everywhere! It looked like windscreen glass. So, I got in and took some very wicked photos... this one was the best.
Love it! Great idea for a subject!

Late a night, we hear a lot of hoons speeding around the place; and the only evidence we see is glass they leave behind and dark marks left on the road. This one didn't have any of that; just the glass everywhere.

I love it. I first thought you put some ice cube the street but that's also an interesting story.

Very cool! Love how you've turned the ordinary thing that someone would usually pass by with no second glance into something beautiful :)

Thank you all for your wonderful comments. I've got other photos from that day I'm dying to use; and will in the next week.

@Lauren: I saw it there in the gutter and wanted something really special... but couldn't get right onto the level with the camera; as the glass was all over the place. So, I had to be very careful with this shot and patient too.
What I love is how the sun reflects off the other pieces that aren't in focus; then off the car's windscreen that's coming down the road.

I love the macro zoom and blur in this picture. Also, that you captured something that is almost always overlooked or unseen by people. It's almost like you've found a way to see the tiniest details in life, and it's refreshing.
