Yesterday, I got a good lot of photos of the Woodridge Fire Station with one of the doors open and the engines leaving. Even though their sirens weren't going, they are a spectacular sight!
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
My son-in-law's brother manages a company that builds fire engines! You wouldn't believe some of the bells and whistles some fire engines have...down to coffee urns! These look more like the real thing and not the fancy ones just for parade duty. Great shots!
These guys are here all the time; living on-site and they are very proud men who work at the busiest fire station on the south side of Brisbane; so it took a long time for their fire station to be upgraded.
I am proud to be living next to such an establishment; of a place where they work on putting out fires faster, train on-site and work so hard at keeping us safe.
