Out Of Print

JRR Tolkien wrote many things in his long life; and he also wrote the Father Christmas Letters. These were letters that were written by his children to Father Christmas each year; and he made it an exciting thing for his family where Father Christmas wrote back. The letters tell of a wondrous place where he worked, where Polar Bears lived and all the adventures that went on at the North Pole each year.
Mum bought me the first edition green hardcover on the left; and I have never let it out of my sight as it's one of those books you just can't find anywhere anymore. So, there was a reprint of the miniature editions put out a few year ago. I was given those; and I haven't taken the plastic off them to keep them preserved. Now, both lots are out of print and are known to be valuable and I'm glad to say that I own them. :D
Well good for you to have held on to them.

@digitalrn I have quite a few books that are out of print; but JRR Tolkien is one of the main authors to have in your shelves if you really want something that's going to build in value. His work is quite hard to find as the years pass by... and I'm happy to be such an avid collector of his even if I don't read a lot of it; just to preserve the pages and the artworks inside.
