Yesterday, Mum and Dad drove me to Bunnings on Compton Road (we have two nearby) to pick up supplies for my first phase of revamping my garden. I had saved up a large amount of money to get some serious gardening done, and was prepared to spend it!
Four bags of potting mix, three lovely pots and a few plants and a set of solar lights later, I had my morning set out for me this morning.
In between showers after breakfast this morning, I potted up the plants I bought on Saturday, repotted a few plants around the yard and found I still had a bag and a half of potting mix left over. This is going to be used for the Large Leaf Jade I've had for 10 years. It's a large tree that was given to me as a housewarming gift when I first moved in... however the last time I tried to repot it, I nearly did in my back! So, I'll be needing help to get it repotted. I have the mix, I just need some muscle. :)
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
@digitalrn@cmt2812@loey5150 thank you all for your lovely comments. In about a few months, I'll be off to Bunnings again and collecting together another lot of gardening supplies to work on the garden... then I'll update you all with phase two of what my garden looks like. :)
