A favourite poet

I was out and about yesterday at Garden City when I walked into QBD Bookstore and found this memoir on Pam Ayres. She was a favourite of my Grandpa's and I love her dry wit and humourous poetry. I've even found some of her vinyls where she's performed on stage... a great funny woman.

She has the right kind of voice to pull off her own works in just the right way... and that's how good she is with everything in her life of writing.
