On Australia Day, I hung about at Mum and Dad's place. It was wet, windy and kinda boring without the sun and heat we're normally used to. But we had a lovely lunch and watched a movie; even though the television did play up a little.
Then, Dad's little bird friends outside called out to him and he fed them from these bowls on the outdoor setting. This bird caught my eye as he peeked over the edge of the table to see if there was anything for him.
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.

@digitalrn yeah it is. I used to feed birds in my yard. This was until a horrible cat attacked a Rainbow Lorikeet and killed him... I found out it was a domestic cat and he lived in my unit complex. It was horrible because those birds never came back to my backyard again; and the owners didn't believe their dear little cat would ever do that. :(
But with wild birds, they know a good person when they see one.
