This morning I was doing my laundry when I found this little guy hanging out on one of the lines. Instead of making him move, I worked around him and allowed him to dry out his wings; as he would have emerged from his little cocoon somewhere and would need the whole day to dry his wings.
Once they're open, they'll never close up like this again... doesn't he look gorgeous?

@alia_801 Mate! He was there all day! From around 9am until 3:45pm until he took off ... I didn't disturb him, just let him settle in and dry out his wings and then fly away just before I took in the laundry... :D
@digitalrn he wasn't too crazy about me hanging out my sandels when I scrubbed them out... I just took my time and slowed down my movements and made sure he didn't fall off the line... but he was still there until later in the afternoon.
