This is my assembly line for my pegs. It look basic and is just that. While I'm waiting for one set of pegs to dry, I work on the other two, then I put them down and check on the other one... by the time I have painted up one or two of them, they're all dry, and done up completely and I'm ready to do up another set.
Having three containers takes half the time to get it all finished and I get another 3 pegs done by the end of my sessions. In the past week, since I have had 3 containers, my work has doubled and I have had enjoyed working with them. :D
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
@digitalrn too true... I get my containers from charity stores and they're usually brass or silver containers from the kitchen-ware section. I'm always amazed at how good these containers are when I find them; nice, sturdy things, and yet, nobody wants to have them in their homes.
@alia_801 Thank you. Quite a few of those pegs have marks on them in the wood which I can't sand off, so they have ended up becoming magnets - very bright and cheery magnets - for people to buy at the next Creative Markets in February. :D
