Yesterday afternoon, I spent 2 hours cleaning up this part of my living room.
I'm so proud of myself!
I added another rubbish bag to that one in the photo and put away Little Miss Stevie's cage. I found this very hard to do and it took me quite a few tissues and around half an hour to get myself to do it... and in case you've never heard of her, just search for Little_Miss_Stevie in the search box up the top right there and you'll see around 4 pages of her photos grace these pages. She was a sweet little darling of a budgie... I loved her so much, and she was definitely a member of my family.

@digitalrn Aaww... yeah, she was, Rick. But I can't afford the vet bills on my own. Mum helped me pay for them when Stevie was alive. So, I promised her that next time, I'd pay for those bills somehow. Now I'm hoping to get enough money together from Crafty Pegs to pay for those bills for my next little bird. :)
@wendyfrost She was such a character, though... :) Oh... yeah, at first, she bit me all the time, but after the 4th year, she started realising I was the source of food and water and I wasn't out to hurt her :P So, she started watching me when I'd take away her food bowl and return with fresh food and water... then change her paper, take her places, on holidays and spend a lot of time with her. And then, I realised, one day, she was actually paying attention to me and actually enjoyed my company - what a changed little bird I had! :D
I never knew how much of a hearbreak it would be to lose her.
