Something beautiful

This was a wedding gift to my parents almost 48 years ago. I think Mom said she got it from Uncle Gregg and Uncle Chris.
Until I was 6 years old, it was kept in my bedroom. I would stare at it, thinking it was the most beautiful thing in the world.
Last time I was home, Mom gave it to me keep at my house. When ever the Things had "sleep overs" in my room, Thing 2 always made sure it was on so I could feel like I did when I was their age.
