Norrøna is the ferry that sails from the Faroe Islands to Iceland and Denmark, in the past it sailed to Shetland and Bergen in Norway, but unfortunately there were too few passengers, so it stopped again, boring for those who used the ferry from there, I'm going for a trip to Iceland in March with it😊
I've just remembered that it has been lengthened since our years of travelling on her. There was old lady on board every time we travelled and I think she more or less just to and from Thorshavn for most of the summer. Happy memories - always enjoyed the breakfasts.
It hasn't been extended, it was talked about, and two years ago what you see up there was done, the new bar and cafe, where the bar was when you were there, has become booths now so it takes many more passengers, I will take a trip with it in Mars, will take some photos for you, yes the breakfast sre stil good😊😊
This is a very nice Ferry, and I would love to use it for my trip to the Faroes next month. The sailing schedule isn't convenient for me, so I'm flying in from Oslo instead. One day we will travel with Norröna, and bring our car. Maybe also continue to Iceland. It's a pity that they stopped going to Bergen, Lerwick and Scrabster though. I loved my short breaks to Shetland.
