Our local shop, here is usually filled with beautiful roses and other good things for the garden, but we have a workers strike here now, it has been more than a week now, no more eggs and potatoes and fruit and other goods are sold out, no diesel to get more good my car uses petrol

Oh goodness.....strikes are not fun, especially on islands. I know people want to make a point, but I don't like the way ordinary people are affected when they have no power to change anything. Not a fan of strikes.
