Crazy Ed isn't crazy. Not really. I like to think of Crazy Ed as the personification of that part of me I feel I'm lacking: the ability to take more risks, to seek more adventure, to throw caution to the wind and live life without a care in the world. I'm a worrywart and a perfectionist, and I drive myself crazy like that. I want to be like Crazy Ed. He relishes life, and truly does not care what anyone thinks of him.
PS. His hand looks enormous in this photo! But he really doesn't have gigantic hands. It's just the perspective. He doesn't care, of course, how it looks to anyone. But I do, so I feel the need to explain. (Maybe I'm the one who's crazy! Heh!)
I think I'm too much like Ed and should be more like you. Love your shots of the boys. I can tell your very passionate about them so that makes your photos of them amazing.
Fantastic pose of Crazy Ed and love the colors AGAIN! Your processing and lighting are amazing. You know, Livia. So much of your own personality comes out with your stories. I'm loving this whole set of great photos. :) P.S. I'd like to be a little more like Crazy Ed myself!
Please to meet you Ed, my name is Pyrrhula How are you to day , you looking great
Thanks for you kind comment. I``m a teacher ( technical ) not for mussrooms, there I`m only the pic.man
Thank you, everyone, for your stopping by! I read every single comment and I thank you very much. I really do appreciate your taking the time. Thank you!
@Lennon's Mom: I think everyone needs a BJD! They're all kinds of fun and they will be whatever you want them to be. (Is the Control Freak in me showing?)
@Leah: I think you may have hit the proverbial nail on the head. I'm just a point-and-shoot type of photographer. I use the autofocus all the time! So if anyone finds my photos amazing, I guess it's something else at work. I don't know how that happens but I'm really glad it does. Thank you for your encouraging words!
@karenann: I can't take credit for lighting. It's all natural! I always take pictures of the boys by the window. (The light comes in on the left. I think it's evident in most of the photos.) As for processing, I use an ancient version of Paint Shop Pro. It's 12 years old! I'm the type who would rather stick to something she's already familiar with than learn to use something new and shiny. (It's hard to teach an old dog new tricks? Heh. I'm also still on Windows XP.) I'm really happy you're enjoying the boys' photos.
i'm absolutely captivated by your shots. These ones about the dolls in particular and the things you write to go with them. they're just brilliant and you get the lighting spot on every time :)
