Me: I don't have a problem with coffee.
Him: I'll add Bailey's.

Him: One scoop or two?
Me: How fat do you want me to get?
Him: I don't want you to get fat.
Me: You don't want me to get a million dollars either.
The Husband sighs, shakes his head and makes his way to the kitchen.
I do get my coffee. 8D He's the nicest man I know. I'm so glad I married him. XD
@claireuk Not an amaretto biscuit. Does it look like one!? What you're seeing in the photo is the ice-cream (with a tiny piece of chocolate to the left) slowly sinking into my coffee, with the Bailey's drizzled on top of it, making that cracked, delicious looking pattern. 8D
Oh my, that sounds sooo good (just read your note to Claire). You and your husband sound like a great team. Love how you captured that foamy look with the ice cream dropped in. I need to try this in the winter.
Is your husband for hire? That coffee sounds just splendid. We sometimes have a combo of coffee and hot chocolate with a dash of Amarula added. Amarula is a South African liqueur which is similar to Bailey's.
@salza Oooh, I just googled, Amarula sounds good! When we were living in Manchester (UK), we liked the chocolate liqueur from Cadbury's. Can't seem to find it on sale here.
@cimes1 Try it! It's yummy! I usually use rum and raisin ice-cream. Chocolate flavored ice-cream is good too. 8)
@marieooi What I usually have, has more coffee than an affogato. But, speaking of affogato, the best one I ever had in a restaurant was a scoop of creamy vanilla ice-cream, a shot of espresso, topped with rum soaked raisins and shortbread crumble! YUM!
oh my....those all sound perfectly decadent! Do you have this in the morning or is the an afternoon delight? I'd best not tell my hubby this...he'd love it (and I can't have any of the decadent alcohols due to allergy :(

LOL .... first, it's a beautiful capture and pov! Second, I don't like coffee. (Yikes, I must be the only one on here who doesn't!) Third, I love the conversation ... makes me feel like I'm sitting right there. Your exchange and dry humor are wonderful! And I'm know that you could use two scoops of ice-cream. Wow- that is one great guy! My husband does not usually do things like that for me- but a few weeks ago he came home and out of the blue said, "Let's go get an ice cream." It was so sweet! Glad you enjoyed your coffee. Sometimes a husband who likes to treat you to Bailey's and ice cream in your coffee is worth a million bucks though- so I think you got that too in a round about way! Fun shot!
