Erm. I didn't set out to take a shot of the sky. I set out to look for bugs at the park. But the sky looked so beautiful, I couldn't resist. So, yeah, my sky shot was taken with my macro lens. 8D
Haha, I have taken more landscapes with my macro lens than I care to admit, but it is one heck of a lens! And this is one heck of a sky shot, well done!
I understand you, Livia. I know a man who takes shots only of sky without any objects in it. And there are so many colours of them that one can not believe. Nice shot!
This is lovely, another first good on you! Thanks for what you said re the cat; you are totally right, I have re-done it to the left and it looks great. I only had 4 shots to work with and if you hadn't guessed she was on the stairs. It is all a learning curve, well done on this shot:0)
Great simple. With that I mean not simple but just a sky and a tree No more is needed by you to take a marvelous pic.

I shoot lots of things with my macro. I actually have an inexpensive combo lens. It has a little button that switches it to macro. It's the lens I just keep on my camera for almost everything. I only switch it out of macro when the macro won't let me get as much area as I want in the shot!LOL I really like the long crop you have here.

@olivetreeann The "nothing green" challenge ended on the last day of July. I do want to add color to my project, so it won't be all green all the time. 8)

This was my first day of holidays. I can't remember what the weather was doing but my mind felt like this. Cool and relaxed after counting down the days for weeks prior. Gorgeous pic.
