Have you had any news regarding your power? When we got hit here in Rhode Island by Hurricane Irene a couple of years ago, I bought a generator, and 2 years after the fact, I got an electrician in to give me a quote last night :-) Very cool shot.....I love the comp and processing! Here's to getting your power back toot sweet! :-)
hope your power is back again ..kudos to your attitude in keeping the spirits up ... i I would have bbeen all grumpy and irritated ... but you really are holding up well ..wonderful shot this Hope ..love the light!! BTW ..thanka for continuing to visit my pics and your appreciation despite the situation you are in ..grateful!!
You are very prepared for this power outage . . . I wouldn't even have a camping stove to cook on! Once, we (and our whole side of the street) were without power for many days. All of our neighbors across the street ran heavy-duty extension cords to our houses, and we plugged in our refrigerators, cameras, phones and computers. The essentials. It was funny driving down the street, seeing all the neighbors tied to the neighbor across the street.
I'm a little behind looking through pics, but wanted to stop in and say how much I enjoy your contributions! This is a fantastic shot! And sorry to hear of your power woes!
Good to see from a few comments above that the power is back. Some are better at dealing with these minor inconveniences. It certainly was a stretch to go without it last year after Sandy. But you make the best of it and move on. We didn't have the luxury of a Coleman Stove, but I did figure out how to cook a casserole on top of the wood stove. Nice shot to remember your adventure by!
