The Mystic River Highway Bridge.Today was a travel day.I didn't get any Macros today.Ill have to double up in the macro album tomorrow.Another one for theme-bridges.We had lunch in Mystic Connecticut on the way to a Monarch Teacher Network nature workshop up near Walden Pond in Lexington Massachusetts. I apologize now for my lack of commenting over the next few days.
I lived above the bridge in that brick building! I have not been there in years and this brings back so many memories! The bridge horn blasting to announce it going up, trying to beat it to get to work! I lived there for 12 years after college! Thanks for sharing!!!
I used to go to Connecticut College, just down the road. I love Mystic, but my favorite town by far is Stonington--just one exit further north I believe. Both are so lovely! Enjoy your workshop! Did you read Barbara Kingsolver's "Flight Behavior"? If not, I recommend it. :)
Oh, I've been busy the last two days and missed this post. You are coming into my area. I haven't made it to Walden's Pond yet, so I can't wait to see your pictures. I may have to squeeze that in before we move.
