That is Ojibwa for Thank You.A dear friend and teacher who is an Ojibwa elder used this alabaster shell filled with burning sage to perform an early morning smudge ceremony as we thanked Nature for its gifts .We did the ceremony on the banks of Walden Pond and it truly was magical .I edited it in PS for iPad and thought it was appropriate for the ETSOOI-32 challenge.Theme-Magical.
A beautiful photo and it would have been so lovely to do that first thing in the morning. Hmmmm.....I might go and do that right now :-) This is definitely a fav :-)
