Each Day is a Blessing

My get-pushed partner Brianna asked me to take an image of something that evokes a childhood memory. My box of photographs, slides ,disks and memory cards is the one material thing I would take with me if I had to evacuate from my home. This box is filled with more childhood memories than I can count. And when the faces of loved ones long gone begin to fade... the power of photographs brings them back.

Love this! I can feel the sentiment in this shot. I always feel a little sad when I see old family photographs in antique stores for sale. Interesting to look at, but sad that no one wanted them. Hope I don't find some of mine in one some day...ahahah! I am like you..i cherish them.
