One of the first " dates" that my husband and I went on was back in 74 .( I was 16 he was 18) We went to see Tobe Hooper's Texas Chainsaw Massacre .It was a lovely story about a family of homicidal slaughterhouse workers who take their job home with them. Made for a very romantic evening.:)

Wow, I remember that film. It was horrific and the thought of it still scares me. I guess if I actually went to watch it again now it wouldn't bother me at all. Not so impressionable at my age now!
The Exorcist had me sleeping with the light on for a while. I watched that a couple of years ago for the second time and found it so dated and boring that I laughed at it. Strange how we change with age.
