Fruits of the Forest

This week, my tags were FRUIT and ROCK. The tag did not say the fruit could not be poison. :) This is Poke Berry growing near the rocky stream bed in the woods behind my cabin.
I love how the focal plane gives us the detail of the moss as well as the piece that has dropped its berry. FAV.

Love the greens and the mossy rock against that poisonous(gasp) berries. I wouldn't have known its poisonous just by looking at them. They look delicious like blueberries,
