Not a Teddy Bear by mzzhope

Not a Teddy Bear

Although they look really cute don't they? She is saying: "Where is that green thing filled with delicious seeds?" The three little bears came by too late to get any bird seed today. Don't worry I was safe inside the cabin behind my zoom lens. Most people would not believe I live in New Jersey USA based on all the idiotic television shows. But this is the real NJ.The northern most part of the state. Here is a collage of my cabin and the surrounding environment I took awhile back: http://365project.org/mzzhope/365/2013-08-01
It must be a bit dangerous at times with bears around like this. I imagine they could get frustrated and nasty if you run out of oeanuts!! Great shot, but I feel a bit worried for you.

Peanuts that should be!

@lucypicsThank you friend, But don't worry Lucy! We really don't feed them.I have bear proof garbage cans and keep my trash inside til it is trash day. We never Bar B Q in summer. But my hubby loves feeding the birds in the winter. They actually come around looking for food when it gets cold! They know him. But it is tricky to figure out when these beauties will be taking their winter nap.

I suppose they are more a nuisance than a danger. It's great to see shots from your back garden. I perhaps could muster up a squirrel but that's as dangerous as it gets. You take care :-)

Fascinating to think you have bears in your back garden! What a wonderful experience and capture. Sounds like you really know what you are doing as far as the bears are concerned, but do take care. I'm happy to offer my services if ever you need a house sitter - would need full bear instruction though.

'as do I'
November 25th, 2013
@allisonraposa lol! Thanks to you both!Tell Aaron they would much rather eat seeds and berries than a person,or even an animal. You just need to keep your distance and treat them with respect. They aren't cute pets but they aren't vicious either.:)
