The Gift

Travel is the theme for this weeks ETSOOI ( edit the s out of it) challenge.Travel is a gift that was given to me more than 6 years ago after a cancer diagnoses ( all is well now..no worries!) Prior to that I was PETRIFIED to fly.And so I never did!But getting sick puts things in perspective in a hurry.I gave myself the gift of a passport...And I fearlessly use it! I have had the most amazing experiences and have stamps from Mexico and Italy on this passport.I have been to so many places in the US that I might never have seen!I am grateful beyond words for this gift!

Very cool shot. Liking the bokeh inside the open passport! Yes, having a U.S. Passport is the ticket to ride! So glad you gave yourself permission to fly. It's no longer much fun but it's the way to see the world.I've had a passport since I was 18 and have fond memories and hundreds of photos of all the places I've visited.
