The grass around this little birdbath is left alone.The birds love the sead heads. ( And so do I!)

We have just planted out heaps of grasses throughout the garden, for the butterflies, after letting a patch of grasses grow through last Spring and having great success with all manner of extra visitors to our yard! :-)
