'Don't you worry your pretty little mind, people throw rocks at things that shine...'
It's not big or funny to make fun of people, whatever you're making fun of them for. Hiding behind an internet screen is cowardly. Grow a pair and go and educate yourselves.
Thank you so much for your comments, support, advice, etc over the last few days.
Great shot - depicts what you wan to say really well. I only just read the thread from the other day and just wanted to add my support to you, and say I'm stunned at some people's rudeness. Thanks for raising this issue.
Great photo. Ross says he'll have a word with the people in the thread you posted as "obviously nobody wants that sort of unnecessary behaviour on the site." Hopefully this won't happen again.
Just saw the thread, and I'm sorry that happened. The internet has made humans great, but also makes humans silly sometimes - they do know better, they just choose entertainment instead. I know it's really hard, especially on such a sensitive topic, but it is really not a personal attack on you or on the issues you were raising in the thread. Stay strong and know that you've already helped your cause. :)
@naomi Please ignore the socially inept comments on your thread, they are trying to push buttons to get attention and think they're being cute and funny. Whatever. Maybe @Scrivna needs to get a handle on the language and etc., that's been peppering these threads lately by the same people. It's just oh, so tiresome and lame and really brings the whole site down.
I know many dancers with eating disorders that hide it, several that died because they never got treatment--good idea Naomi.
Naomi, I just went and read the discussion topic and the comments therein. I'm so sorry that people are acting that way. :( It really is disheartening. I'll be praying for you.
Terrific shot! I had an idea who it was aimed at before I went back and re-read the discussion........I was right! I admire your courage. Powerful photo!
Naomi.. I'm so sorry you had to experience those idiots... you did the right and good thing and you should be very proud... not many of us stand up for what we believe in, and you did.... trust me... there are many, many more nice people here, than those few who insulted all of us...
