...and I said, whoa, those are good! I wasn't really confident that I could replicate the effect, but then I remembered I had an on-going DIY ringlight project...so I hurriedly searched for the dusty thing, worked on it hastily to try and make some headshots. Unfortunately, I don't have a longer lens and I was itching to use the DIY ringlight. The missus, the do-i-have-a-choice victim, got excited too (she always does when she sees me giddy and almost exploding with a new harebrained idea). She looks good, doesn't she? :D I love how she contained her emotions on this shot and how the ring of light appears in her eyes. :D
I'm rounding up more people to shoot! I think my 365project might get filled sooner with this new contraption working. :D
The results are far from those shots of Jay-Z and The Clooney, but I had fun. :)
