I don't know her. She's one of the myriad faces I aimed my lens at and pulled the trigger on. This was a photoshoot for The Missus' website.
She's a pretend bride.
But then the look on her face when I asked her to bow down was exactly what I wanted to see. A look of bated excitement, a detached happiness, a visible layer of the jitters and a hint of uncertainty. About her gown perhaps? About the ceremony? Or the general order of things when the wedding ends and the marriage starts?
"Was it good?," she asked, jerking my over analyzing mind back to the hotel room. "Was the shot good?," she asked again, puzzled this time with the fazed pause I made.
"Pretty good," was all I could say.
I found out later that she was engaged to her boyfriend and was really excited about their wedding.
