My little boy in the garden. Finish my first photography course tonight, my first steps into the world of photography. Time to do something to keep my new found passion going.
Welcome to 365, and thanks for the follow. Whereabouts are you? I'm from over near Loughborough, and there are a few others amongst the 365 community all with great projects, namely @cazla@shepherdman@shepherdmanswife if you are looking for a few local faces.
I must say I do like your first shot, it has great colour and texture, it is well composed and processed. You've set the bar high!!
@seanoneill Hi, I also live near Loughborough. I recognise places in your photos. I have just done a project on b&w architecture for my college course, have long way to go to match your colliery images. They are really inspiring. Look forward to seeing more of your work. Thanks for your comments. Lovely to hear for first shot.
Welcome and have fun. It's a great community. I like your first image. The subject is clear and positioned unusually but interestingly within the frame. Composition is clear, creative and uncluttered and I like your treatment in post as it has given the jeans a faded look. Great start.
Welcome to 365 and thank you for the follow. I'm not in the Midlands now, but grew up in Northamptonshire and my daughter now lives between Nottingham and Derby (And if I didn't have to sleep on the floor I'd visit more often)
Well, I am not from England, but Michigan in the United States. I'm a graphic designer, and have had photography classes as part of my studies, loved the hand processing and printing that we did at the time. Thanks for following me. Your photos are very interesting with good design qualities. And you're not afraid to explore simple as well as the more complex.
Beautiful image.
