You've asked for feedback on images in your profile. To make a stronger composition I would of tried to exclude the leaves on the right and also try and off center the main subject...think rule of thirds. The focus is spot on though and it works very well in b and w.
It's strange being the new one I've only been here a short time but you will find everyone so helpful. As they said to me when I joined get involved and it makes photography even more enjoyable .I like constructive criticism so feel free on mine. Your photo is good , b/w works well . Single focus on one thing would make even more appealing . But you like and that's always the main thing . Enjoy
It's hard to believe how small this little flowers are as they bloom early often before winter has released it's icy grip. When you produce a B&W image you generally are looking for good tonality - a range from crisp blacks to bright whites. Take a look at your histogram when processing and then adjust your white and black points as well as your contrast to achieve the best results.
