For my mentoring group. Architectural details. So my hubby was drawn to the Edwardian building next door, whereas I was drawn to the unloved blue door on the now disused 60's police station....
I like this for several reasons. I think the color makes it pop. I like the repetition of all the rectangles and straight lines. Then, the decay or wear/tear adds interest. All in all, a well thought through and executed composition.
I want to follow along Taffy's group. My mentor is @vignouse and he has really helped but it is fun to see what others are doing. Hope that is all right. Nice shot.
I love the color and the paint flaking off by the mail slot. The sign in the window is a touch distracting - but then again they are designed to grab your attention! Is that a map covering the window?
