So our mentoring/critique group is taking on the world of food photography so watch out 365er's we're going to be making you hungry!!! Food photography seems extremely scary. So here is my first offering....
Wonderful start Ruth!! A really striking image. I love the dish against the black background. Lovely different textures and colours of the food. One minor thing - are you able to clone out the tiny marks at the top of the screen?
A fun way to kick it off, Ruth! I'm thinking food photo constantly now. I tood one last night of eating out at a small country restaurant -- totally unhealthy! And not sure worthy of posting. Your choice works so well -- I like the way the white dish sets off the color of the 'staples' and the color palette formed by the three different ones. Great theme for the month.
This is a great idea Ruth. I like the different colours and textures of all the different foods that you have chosen. I find the shadow a bit heavy on the top half of the bowl, and wonder if you could lighten it a bit? Otherwise, all great.
