Would you go for a swim today?

It was in the 20s (Fahrenheit), 30-40 mile an hour winds, & snow/ice falling on and off. I would not swim, but I do love the beach in the winter. Despite the howl of the wind and the crashing of the waves, I find it peaceful. The lifeguard sign is the memory of summers gone by & a hope of summers to come.

I've got a friend who does these icy swims in the sea nearly everyday even if it is snowing! Brrr.. I think you find it peaceful as nature is beautiful and there are no people about!
