Italium Arum by njmom3

Italium Arum

This unusual plant was in a garden on my walk yesterday. Siri identifies it as an Italian arum. It was introduced to the area as an ornamental. However, it is now considered invasive as its tubers spread. Every part of the plant - including these berries - is toxic to humans & animals.
It's such a striking and unusual plant...shame it's nature makes it invasive....we have one in the garden somewhere
